Jungle and Nature Tours

To truly experience the beauty and wonder of nature in Belize, our partners have several exciting eco-adventure tours. With an experienced local bushman as your guide, you can explore all the wildlife and interesting fauna found in the Belizean jungle.  A full day jungle trek - One full day in the pristine jungle with local bushmen guides. Learn about the treasures that the jungle holds: natural medicines, herbs, barks, and many plants that are still used today by natural healers throughout Central America. Ancient ruins, burial sites, and altars lurk below the shadows, hidden by time, as you trek through areas few have ever seen. Explore the Blue Hole River as it surges from below a 250 ft cliff and take a refreshing dip in its aqua blue waters.

Overnight Expeditions

For a more exciting thrill, sign up for an overnight jungle expedition where you’ll spend two or four full days deep in the jungle, using bushcraft to build your own shelter and secure food from what’s around you. Other interesting adventure tours include participating in a jungle safari after dark. Over 80% of the animals in the Belizean jungle are only awake at nighttime, making this the perfect time to see animals like gibnuts, wild peccaries, tarantulas, snakes, deer, armadillos, and owls. 

Snorkeling and Diving

Belize boasts the largest barrier reef on the western hemispheres and includes some of the best dive sites in the region.  Depart for your Belize diving tour at 6 AM and drive through the scenic foothills of the Maya Mountains to Hopkins village. A dive boat will take you towards the Barrier Reef for two single tank dives at different diving locations along the reef.

The warmth of the Caribbean Sea is inviting and water visibility during good weather is excellent! Your guide will point out various reef formations, sea turtles, colorful fish, stingray, and conch.
